Unauthorized use of off highway vehicles (4-wheel drive trucks, ATVs and dirt bikes) has damaged riparian habitat on Putah Creek. A 2010 grant from the CA Parks Department, funded by OHV registration fees is restoring habitat and deterring future damage with hedgerow plantings that also serve as barriers to future trespass.
