In 2008, the LPCCC entered into an agreement with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection to use space at the LA Moran Reforestation Center in Davis to grow native plants for restoration projects in the Lower Putah Creek watershed; providing community volunteers with plant propagation experience, extending restoration budgets and preserving local ecotypes. Davis Waste Removal collects nursery pots at the Drop-Off Recycling Center (2727 Second Street) for our reuse.
